Review Date: April 1st, 2025
Babble (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides its language translation services (the “Service(s)”)—including human-assisted translations, text and audio translation features—through its mobile application and website (collectively, the “App”), subject to the following Terms of Service (as updated periodically, the “Terms of Service” or “Terms”).
We may modify or update portions of these Terms at our sole discretion at any time. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and indicate the date of the latest revision at the top. We may also notify you through in-app notifications, email, or by other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the Babble App or any of its Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to these or any future versions of the Terms, you should not access or use the Babble App or its Services.
Additionally, when using certain features or services, you may be subject to supplementary terms that apply specifically to those offerings. These may be provided directly within the App or website or sent to you by other means. This includes, without limitation, our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service.
Babble is committed to providing a reliable and user-friendly platform for users around the world, enabling seamless communication across languages through advanced technology and professional human translators.
At Babble, we are committed to delivering accurate and high-quality translations through the exclusive use of professional human translators. We do not use AI (Artificial Intelligence), machine translation, or any other automated systems for any type of translation service — including both text and audio.
Our Translation Principles:
- All translation requests are completed by qualified human translators.
- This applies to every service we offer, whether it’s document translation, website localization, voice translation, or any other format.
Prohibited Content:
Babble does not provide translations for content that falls into any of the following categories:
- Content requiring creative expression or where brand identity and reputation may be compromised
- Safety-critical material where errors could endanger human life
- Texts or audio containing profanity, hate speech, or sexually explicit content
- Any material that is illegal, threatening, or deemed inappropriate under applicable law
Legal Compliance:
In line with applicable legislation in the United Kingdom and/or the relevant laws of any affected country or region, Babble reserves the right to report any such prohibited content to the appropriate authorities.
Refund Policy:
No translations will be performed on content that violates this policy, and no refunds will be issued for such requests.
At Babble, we offer high-quality and efficient translation services for text and audio content. Our platform supports translation from a specified source language into a target language (“Translation(s)”) using a two-step process: first, a native-speaking human translators translates and sends out the translation to the user, followed by a review from qualified professional editors (“Service Providers”) to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance. If there are currently no qualified professional translators in the language pair chosen, this is then done by other similar translators.
To initiate a Translation, users are required to submit a request through our app and make the corresponding payment in the form of purchased Tokens.
Babble serves users worldwide, ensuring that all translations meet high linguistic and cultural standards, regardless of language pair or region.
